Sitting at the top of Tampa Bay, Oldsmar is a suburb between Tampa and Clearwater. Developed by Oldsmobile creator Ransom Eli Olds in 1913, the city was carefully designed with tree lined streets leading to the historical downtown district. Oldsmar is very close to both the gulf beaches as well as Lake Tarpon, which provides many boating and recreational activities.
The Racetrack, Tampa Bay Downs is located in Oldsmar. Tampa Bay Downs is the only Thoroughbred race track on the west coast of Florida. The city of Oldsmar has one of the largest flea markets on Florida's West Coast, the Oldsmar Flea Market. At 28 acres, this flea market is sure to be large enough to provide hours of entertainment for families and bargain seekers.
